About South London Ordnance:
An artist who extends his adept traits from album art, music videos to obscure mutations of techno and house, South London Ordnance was dubbed Time Out “DJs to watch in 2013″ – a title that affirms his presence in the ever-evolving sounds of UK bass/house.
Having finished the festival circuit with dates in Ibiza and Croatia for the mighty Dimensions and Outlook festival, in addition to recent showings at Boiler Room and Warehouse Project, South London Ordnance grants us his presence in Hong Kong. Aside from releases via 2nd Drop, Audio Culture and Well Rounded, SLO debuted 2013 with an outing on Scuba's Hotflush Recordings, followed by the launch of his very own Aery Metals Recordings – a platform that hosts a progressive blend of dubby, industrial-leaning compositions. Never far from immersive use of synths, vintage snares over funky undertones, SLO brings forth the euphoric hues of '90s hard dance signifiers without departing from the raspy textures of organ cords and shaking bass cuts -- fluently merging the gap between hands-in-the-air anthems and leftfield grooves.
